***Update on our product-based shopping experience - new developer guide launching today ***

Hello,

In our Spring Business Seller Update , we told you about our new product-based shopping experience.

Displaying groups of similar listings together, shoppers can use the experience to compare available items. You’ll need to list using the eBay catalogue in order for us to include your items in this new shopping experience.

We want to keep you updated on the very latest developments with this change. Today, we’re publishing an update to our developer guide related to this new shopping experience on eBay.

Who is this guide for?

This guide will be useful for anyone in our developer community, or anyone who uses our developer tools (such as APIs) for their business on eBay. For example, some of you may be using our Trading API to revise your fixed-price listings in bulk.

The guide will be of particular interest for service providers who create tools and services that support professional sellers with selling on eBay. These providers need to know about changes to our site in advance, so they can update their tools to help you to manage your sales in the best way possible.

What do I need to do?

Nothing right now - unless you use APIs to run your business on eBay, without the help of a service provider. If you use our APIs, take a look at the document for more information.

What’s next?

We’ll share information about new features that are relevant to your business when we release our Summer Business Seller Update, well in advance of any actions needed by you.

Regards
The eBay Team
