Hi business sellers,
This autumn, we're announcing important changes to improve the shopping and selling experience, and to provide a more secure marketplace.
Remove watermarks from images We’ve updated our picture policy to help create a clearer shopping experience for buyers.
Expanding our product identifier requirements We’re constantly improving eBay to create better matches between your items and buyer searches. That’s why we’re expanding the categories that require product identifiers and introducing a number of other improvements.
Trade your way to selling success We’ve redesigned our marketing tools to make it easier and quicker for eBay Shop subscribers to set up and run promotions.
Streamlining your after-sales processes We’re streamlining the way returns and the eBay Money Back Guarantee work, making it quicker for you to handle these requests.
Simplifying buyer Feedback We’re improving seller protection, plus making it easier and faster for buyers to leave Feedback.
Contact information and links policy changes Remove contact details and links to other websites to help keep eBay a safe, secure and fair place to buy and sell.
Creating a more secure eBay Google has recently announced that any content that doesn't use the HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure) communications protocol, will display a non-secure icon. In response to this change, which affects all sites, we’re changing how we display item descriptions to improve the security of our site.
As always, thanks for selling with us,
The eBay team
