My wires are primed & ready... just waiting for the cheeses to be put out... no idea why it's taking sooooooo long 🤪

Did you see the mouse on the news that squeezed into a bird feeder & was feasting on the nuts etc getting ready for hibernation.... poor thing got stuck & couldn't squeeze out again.... anyway, it wasn't me grin

<he was rescued relieved, although I can't imagine he was that thrilled about it>)

View From A Bridge - Kim Wilde

Pip pip peeps 🙂
So what’s appertaining at this present? Recovered from MOT party mousie? and have they removed the impromptu swimming pool from outside the tiniest house?
Are you awake yet little? Is anyone awake in this world which has long since etc. etc.?
I didn’t know they were filming celeb in Wales, you’d think they’d be too busy removing the swimming pool, emptying the bins, pulling down the Ambassador Hotel in Blackpool and all the other stuff they do. I’m jolly glad I’m not one of them, they never seem to stop!
Anyway I drove past Cardigan Castle earlier and no sign of them there, and they can’t be using Emlyn or Carmarthen Castles as they’re in ruins. Still, Wales eh? How cool is that? 😎😎😎
A chap’s YouTube channel has suddenly become more popular, only 16 more subscribers and I can work live from a mobile device again 🙂 )

Bridge Over Troubled Water - Simon & Garfunkel

(Afternoon peeps - I am lucky to be able to get online today as there was a power cut last night that lasted around 8 hours.. with all the trip hazards in my house I'm also lucky to survived intact  laughing

Danlyncand, I'm a celeb is using Gwrych Castle, Abergele, N Wales.  They've got in trouble as they've 'faked' the setting of the trials apparently & are done in a tent, yet made to look like they're in the castle..... there have been some other problems by the sounds of it too, however, the castle looks beautiful in the Google pics, so I expect their summer tourism will be boosted by it all, which will be good for Wales indeed.

Personally I think they've missed a trick & should have made them camp on one of the beaches 😈

Good news about your YouTube channel 💰💰💰

I'm glad you've woken up Little... I thought I could hear the whirling of the wheel grin If you'd popped over earlier you could have gone swimming too laughing The water board have spoilt our fun by fixing the leak now cry)

Smoke and Ashes - Tracy Chapman

(Afternoon Little & co - Sorry you have had a dull day there Little unamused It's been quite bright here for a change, but very cold.

More power cuts throughout the night & this morning which mucked up my plans for an early start <& I'm sticking with that innocent> amazing how you come to rely on it for pretty much everything... hot water, heating cooking phone etc.... I'm pretty lucky as I also have a wood burner, an old fashioned phone that plugs in & friends that had bought me candles at some point so I was able to cook on the fire & warm the house up at the same time, but it's all a bit of a faff.

It has been OK this afternoon so not wishing to tempt fate I'm hoping for a brightly lit evening & some TV tonight 🤞

Wheelbarrow trip sounds perfect... yes you can push downhill .... and I will... fix my electric motor for the up hill bits wink grin

Oo it's good you have got your new pink ears.... thinking... when it comes to elevenses, & other break times, I will look after the batteries for you innocent)

Ashes to Ashes  - David Bowie

Hi all hope all is well with you guys.

Been a bit fed up lately as not been able to see family.  Not met up with my sister since March.

Did manage to get to our timeshare in Loch Rannoch which was glorious in the autumn colours and been locked down since.  Would love to have a wood burner too Mousie.

Had our first squirrel in the garden yesterday in 30 years.  There are squirrels here but they have never ventured to ours before.  Pity it was grey and not red.  The slugs are back too though.  Ugh!!

I love hearing all your differing stories in these strange times.  I think I used to contibute to this post years ago - will need to check back sometime.

Ashes In My Hand - Marianne Faithfull

(Woman Very Happy Good evening Mousie and Bonnie, hope the start of December has been good for you both. xx

Plenty of the sunshine came this morning, although cold out, but then pooosh the sun went early afternoon, at least nice to see it though.

Such a shame about the power cuts there Mousie Woman Sad  at least you made the most of it, and did your best for everything. Woman Very Happy So sure we all take electric for granted then when none, wow, brain at the ready in what is for the best to do.

Wow, great idea for getting me and the wheelbarrow back up the hill, vroom vroom. Woman LOL

So funny about 'new pink ears' Woman LOL as when I am all done and dusted in a morning, making myself look more huwoman innocent  I think ''Now then, where are my ears?''. Woman LOL

Ah, erm, at least if they seem flat then I know you sneaked the batteries out for a while, more so at break times.  Woman Surprised Woman LOL

Lovely for you Bonnie to have gone to Loch Rannoch Woman Very Happy  I looked it up, so lovely. Woman Very Happy Fingers tightly crossed soon you and your Sister can get together. innocentinnocent

I get 2 squirrels now and again in my garden, sometimes the one. Nice to see them, and good you had one to visit. Woman Very Happy No chance for me to see a red one, that would be lovely.

So nice to chatter here when we can, such fun and many laughs along the way.  Woman Very Happy

Take care, and stay safe, hope for Danlyncand as well.)

Hand in Hand - Dire Straits

(Evening my lovelies on this.... boing boing boing  light at the end of the tunnel sort of day relieved Hopefully life will return to some sort of normal very soon.

I was speaking to a friend in Scotland the other day & it sounds like the police are far stricter than here in England - due to health problems he hasn't left the house either since March. It's very difficult for people, but there is an end in sight so hang on in there Bonnie.

My wood burner was an early buy on Ebay from a lovely couple in Sheffield. It has kept me warm & fed on more than one occasion relieved I think some salt at the door may help with those pesky slitheres, unless you can entice some hungry hedgehogs forthwith unamused

It has been very cold here too Little 🥶 Have had to get the woolen blanket out & two throws.... the side effect is that I really don't want to get up in the morning grin

On the TV this morning I watched a money saving segment, comparing similar items ... one example was a long, snake-like water bottle, which I did like the look of... anyway, the one he had was £7.99 or thereabouts, which was a massive saving when compared to the posh cashmere covered one that was almost £100!!! ...........£100 for a water bottle....😲 🙄

Don't forget to take your little pink ears off tonight before you go beddy-byes Little sleeping

Take care all xx)

Hold My Hand - Hootie and the Blowfish

(Good morning Mousie 'n all. Woman Very Happy Ooo yucky weather, so dark and raining. Hibernation time it is that's for sure. At least a bit of the sun showed its face yesterday, then more rain though.

Great indeed your purchase of the wood burner, maybe we could all sit around it to keep warm and toast some bread. innocent

Armed with blankets I have been as well, the fleecy ones are great, even one I have in a blue sea scene with some dolphins on it. Woman Very Happy

Wow a big difference in price the hotwater bottle, no way would I pay for a cashmere one spending out all that 'cash'...Oo, see what I did there. Woman LOL

Yep I took my pink ears off before Beddy-byes last night, and just stuck them in my ears now. innocent

Take care, and stay safe. xx)

thinking.... I think it would be best to bring your dolphin blanket Little - I had a dream last night where someone stole a blue dolphin blanket open_mouth so best if you let me keep it safe for you innocent grin  I will also take care of your batteries while toast & marshmallow making as my fire can spit some sparks & I don't want to risk you going bang 🎆

Back On The Chain Gang - The Pretenders

(Good evening Mousie 'n all. Woman Very Happy Brrrrr cold it has been, expected of course for December, even my pink ears asked for padding. Woman LOL

Some sun did show its face earlier though, so not too bad. Woman Very Happy

Mm, now then, great idea about me bringing marshmallows......Ah, erm, now where did I put them. innocent *wiping my mouf of evidence, wipe wipe. Woman Very Happy

Oo, best then you keep my dolphin blanket and batteries safe. Me no wants to go out with a BANG. Woman Surprised

I finally decorated my Christmas tree, all twinkling away now with the lights on. Even the fairy is smiling. Woman Very Happy

Back to Black - Amy Winehouse

(Evening peeps..... It sure is cold indeed, mind you some have had snow so could be worse. Maybe you should put some of those spare marshmallows on your ears - if you lick them first they become more sticky.....they come in pink too & you can eat them once you've warmed up  grin

How nice to have your Christmas tree up with the twinkly lights - there are quite a few Christmas lights up around the area & it makes everything look so pretty. Not sure I'm going to get myself organised to do the same this year, will see.

Interesting things going on with the side wall of the tiniest house.  I thought they had more or less finished, but holes keep appearing & then disappearing.... at one point I saw a little bird flying in & out of one of the smaller holes - hope it got out before they filled it in again

Oh & the reason for the power cuts was the same reason as the lake appeared at the back of my garden.  More building work has been going on around the corner for months & they too had a big crane in the road which caused an underground cable to break.

They dug up the road this past week to fix it.  People have been getting angry & honking their horns & shouting at each other 🙄. Glad it's fixed now... t'was disturbing my beauty sleep laughing

Definite lights on here at a startling 2pm 😮 and yes please I’ll have some of them there marshmallows please 🙂

A sprinkling of sun in between sleet sessions here little, very welcome too as it affords a chap a minute to bring the logs in without getting a sleeting 🙂
Alas a slight glitch in the millionaire... millions as I had 1020 subscribers on YT, then YT said I have to have 1000 of them for 90 days before I can access said lucre... am now on 1012, ficklety if ever I’ve experienced such a thing!

Night Fever - Bee Gees

(Evening my lovelies... open_mouth Hole in your roof Danlyncand scream... that's not good, although handy if you want a drink in the middle of night I suppose innocent grin

Can you fix it yourself, or do you need to get someone in? Maybe your house insurance will have a tradesman on their list of approved peeps 🤞

I'm lucky I didn't need to use my car insurance this morning.... nearly got wiped out by car deliberately going through a red light. I don't know how I stopped.. millimetres between us.... He had his wife & kids in the car too!!!  Shame the police weren't around to see it.

It happened earlier in the week too, but in a different place & not on such a major junction... I hope it's not a growing trend 😧

Hey good news about your page views Danlyncand. You will be an 'influncer' if it carries on triumph

Night Train - Duran Duran

Top of the evening Mousie 🙂
A chap is having to get someone in, can’t be going up ladders these days. Insurance? InSURance? I used to have it but mr. house got dry rot and they wouldn’t pay out for fungal infestation so I stopped paying them, probably they don’t pay out for roofal holeation either, so a man is coming tomorrow on what I hope turns out to be the cheap.

That’s rather outrageous driving through a red light like that but sadly a great many people think that laws are optional nowadays tsk tsk glad you escaped unscathed 🙂

Am now watched regularly on a screen in a cafe in Canada somewhere, strange days indeed! Most peculiar Mousie 🙂

Night Boat to Cairo - Madness 🕶

(Morning my lovelies.... on this damp & wet day.

Hmmm yes, insurance companies seem to be better at taking money than giving it back 🙄 Hope the welsh weather is dry for roof repairs today Danlyncand 🤞

Yes both red light ignoring happened where no cameras were present, & both drivers were fully aware of this as they did not just 'jump' the lights. Everyone is rushing around - probably a combination of Christmas & the looming of tier 3 becoming evermore imminent.

At least we can count on the Canadians relieved We might be needing them even more so in the very near future... glad you are doing your bit for cross border relations 👍

Evening mousie and all ye preoccupied with xmas ppls 🙂
A fitting song considering how dark the night is at present, still they start getting lighter v. soon 🙂
Hole is still in the roof, t’has lashed it down and blown a gale all the time since I’ve been wanting it de-holed.
No dreadful drivers seen so far this week but the car park of the co-op in Lampeter was under a foot of water last night
It’s political correctness gone mad 🙂
