(Good afternoon Mousie 'n all Woman Very Happy Much milder my side as well, plenty of the sunshine which was nice to have. Saves on the heating bill. innocent Wow, yep let's go to Greece and then Italy for some pizza & spaghetti, just um, well, I am a good slurrrper of spaghetti, I even have the badge. Woman LOL Then we could go to Jersey, my birth homeland, we could tuck into some 'Jersey Wonders' mm, like doughnuts, but twisted and a real melt in the mouth taste. I will check yours first though as I am very caring like that. innocent)

Billy Don’t Be A Hero - Black Lace

(Pip pip and what ho, a chap certainly hopes everyone’s coolio. A chap is decidedly less than chuffed with local builders, one after another they come down the inordinately long and muddy steep tight track, get their vans stuck and after I concoct increasingly ingenious ways of pulling them out with a variety of pulleys and the long suffering mr. car, say sorry, they’re not coming back. Annnd it turns out my neighbour has “burnt down” many of them before I even ring them up. So mr. Roof Hole is still agape 🤬
Little please knit me a new roof, it’s only 20’x13’, shouldn’t take long and I’ll buy you such an amount of wool as to leave you some for a proper good project 🙂

Piles of leaves a-plenty and no snow at present 🎁

Pip safe and stay pip 😎)

Rhythm of the night - Debarge

(Morning all on this new moon in Capricorn ️ day 🙂 do feel free to sing while you knit little 🧶 I’d hate to be the cause of non-singing! Here’s some more hot dog soufflé 🌭 this time with Polish maasdammer cheese 🧀 as mr. Car scraped his way to Tesco’s and back at an early hour, though he is scraping at the last chance saloon at present 🎁
Mousie you have about 2 more weeks to full moon 🌕 so you should be okay for a while, I’m sure nobody thinks you’re strange (mostly) 🙂 )

Private Investigations - Dire Straits

(Good afternoon peeps

No rain today relieved Hope the fog has disappeared by now Little, although our foghorn voices would help us find each other, even in the densest of fogs grin

All of the birdie holes in the tiniest house have been filled with some pipe work so I may have to make some more of my own <tee hee>. Two wood pigeons think they are lighter than their actual weight & have turned the bird feeder into the leaning tower of Pisa, but lots of bird food for all sizes are disappearing so there are a lot about.

Gimme The Night - George Benson

(what ho mousie, little and everyone 🙂 well blow me down and call me Elspeth, quite a smattering of the white stuff! A chap’s bird feeders are mightily over subscribed and the winged ones are ripping through my fat balls apace! One simply hopes they don’t take refuge in the roof hole which is still decidedly unrepaired, all builders thus far having got their vans stuck and departed swearing egregiously. Mr Car seems to need urgent repairs having done a couple of hundred miles since the last round of fiscal consumption, wiping out a chap’s saving-up-for-a-new-old-car money 🤬 Still it’s good to know the guy next door got away with breaking the covid rules to drive here and usurp anew the internet 🤬 BUT on the plus side this year’s first early seed potatoes are chitting and tobacco seeds are about to be sewn (and not heard)
Warm safe and pip keep 🙂 )

Night Fever - The Bee Gees

Hi all and hoping everyone is coping ok.

Missed the Jive Talking concert for the Bees Gees this year, sorry last year, due to this darn covid.  Been to see them for the past few years - fantastic nights, absolutely brilliant they were.

I remember our trip to Jersey as our first holiday together back in the days.  Got the overnight bus to London from Edinburgh, then train to port then ship.  Had all our camping gear too.  Loved our time in St Brelade.  Happy memories. Oh to be travelling again.

Pretty soggy up here, my poor wee grandson went on the trampoline and got completely sodden.  However the snowdrops and crocuses are out, so looking forward to spring!  Glad January is nearly over and it gets lighter in the evening.

Night Boat to Cairo - Madness

(Evening Little, Danlyncand & Bonnie. Hope you are all OK.

Sorry you missed the Jive Talking concert Bonnie, hopefully everything will soon return to some normality & life can start again 🤞

Danlycand, I hope you have managed to pull in some builders for roof repairs & Mr Car is holding up.

Snow is on it's way here from tomorrow - just a brief interlude between the downpours this month, but the frozen variety will make a brightening change.

Little, best get your pink ear muffs & newly knitted scarf & gloves out so we can make a snowman or two

Take care all - holidays, hugs, concerts & gardening are on their way xx)

Mid Night Train To Georgia - Gladys Knight + Pips

(Here we are Bonnie in a less soggy February, shame re. The Bee Gees 😞 I went to St. B’s bay on holiday in the 70s & played the organ in the little church there, lovely Frenchness & hot weather 🙂

Pip pip mousie get your snow shovel ready! Mine is waiting for it’s annual outing. Mr. car demanded another £400, only a few dozen miles after his last bout of gluttony so he has now been replaced by a qashqai 🙂 and the man who sold me it says he knows a builder who’ll brave the muddy lane so it’s happy if slightly pensive and broke days 🙂
Gimme the vaccine Maxine
