Good afternoon Mousie 'n all. Wow, some sunshine arrived, great seeing it, although cold outside. Some areas got plenty of snow, none arrived from my sky. Hmm, and there I planned to build a snowman. 
Aww, soooo kind of you to say had I flown awaaaay you would have searched & searched for me. I would have waved my pink balloon.
I have been clicking away with my knitting needles, using chunky wool for a warm scarf. Easy to knit of course, and not long in length as I wouldn't like to trip over it while wearing the scarf. )

Quite a few fireworks I heard last night, must have cost a fortune. Some sun appeared earlier in my sky, hiding again though at the moment. Ice over the snow now, freeezing out there, so I am not even going into the garden.)

It is very cold today here, although sun keeps peeking through. I think the BBC said it was -12 in the Highlands earlier so it could be worse.
Danlyncand, have you managed to expel the living green stuff yet & fix up the roof, or has the weather & work got in the way?
The tiniest house has continued with a never ending supply of new holes for the birds in the flank wall. Some stay & some get filled again so birdies have to be quick. One looks like it's been covered up from the inside only so could prove promising for a little nest in the spring 🤞

Ooo, nice and sunny again, as yesterday, during the afternoon. And no heating needed. Wow, although of course very cold outside.
Yep the singing was great Mousie and wow those mousies certainly jumped high. Aww, that would be nice if a birdies nest appeared in Spring.
Oo, that roof hole still there Danlyncand 
at least all good having a coal fire there. Mousie and I will be there soon bearing marshmallows, crumpets and bread for toasting.
Hope all going as well as can be with your Mr Car. Wow, the song is good, traaaa laaaaaa.
My knitting needles worked well with the scarf I made, now on another, a lilac/white one this time. And I even made time to bake some cakes..........ah, erm, about the cakes. >>>>>>>

Indeed it do be cold, although no snow here, yet... ice on the car's windscreen this morning. Have you crunched around in your wellies Little - love the sound it makes, but no good if it's icy underneath or something else may crunch
I always feel cheated if it's cold enough for snow, but it doesn't arrive, however, this year I don't want to wish any more hardship on anyone so I will just have to make do with not defrosting my freezer

( Evening Mousie, nice you didn't get any snow, although frost about. At least the slight covering of snow has gone now.
Yep lovely the sound the crunching of the snow sounds and in Autumn when the leaves have fallen and gone crispy. Fun to kick them all around, although I need to be careful if any piles are too deep or I will vanish.
