*The Nags head healthy eating group*

This is not a *slimming club* really.

I think it would be nice to have a place to come & chat about weight loss ideas (safe sensible ones only please!),
to share personal experiences and achievements, and also to ask for help.

Lindi is our resident expert, and has kindly offered her help.
Just introduce yourself and come on in, you are most welcome!

HEY, I'M A NEWBIE TO THE WORLD OF SLIMMING. I RECENTLY WENT ON CAROL VORDAMAN'S DETOX BUT HAD A BAD REACTION TO NOT BEING ABLE TO EAT ANYHIN WITH DOME TASTE SO CAME OFF IT AFTER A WEEK.
IDEALLY I'D LIKE TO LOSE 2 1/2 STONE (IT'S THE AMOUNT I PUT SINCE STARTING TO EAT MEANT AGAIN. IF ANYONE'S GOT ANY TIPS OR RECIPES OR THINGS I'D BE REALLY GREATFUL AND I'LL TRY AND SHARE MY LIMITED KNOWLEDGE OF STUFF.......

Re: *The Nags head healthy eating group*

Well my top tip is to find healthy alternatives to snacks. When I get the munchies I now grab a handful of pumpkin seeds, a rice cake, or a cup of tea. I've been doing it for three weeks, and I've lost four pounds. That might not sound a lot, but it means I fit into my clothes again!!! so I'm chuffed to bits.

Ginger - butter nut squash soup in a good food, no fat and lots o things gud 4 u, cucumber soup, to make both churn them up untill almost all lumps have gone add pepper and salt to taste and heat up, it's very nice and contains not fat, the cucumber is ment to be eaten cold so after heating put in fridge, but you can eat it hot. hope i,ve been of some help. 😄

Re: *The Nags head healthy eating group*

Hi everyone

I have been going to WW since January and i lost 2s 8lbs between then and June. Ever since then i have found sticking to it very hard (even though the most i have put on is 4 pounds in two week - so i have stayed mostly the same) and what makes it worse is i have a wedding on the 25th September. So i have resorted to drastic measures and went on the Dr Atkins diet and it seems to be working i lost 4 pounds over 3 days hoping to lose another stone before the wedding. Once the wedding over i will be back onto my WW as it is more healthy.

Lynz

Re: *The Nags head healthy eating group*

Hello everyone, after what seems a long time away I put on 1lb at WI last night. 😞 Just feel so disheartened, I did everything right this week, tracking, drinking water, weighing everything, exercise etc. Oh well hopefully next week will see better results. 🙂

Happy 21st birthday Jay 😉

Re: *The Nags head healthy eating group*

Hey everyone,

Does anyone have the link for that website where you can program in your weight/height and what you look like at it makes up a virtual body for you?

Been trying to remember what it was called!

Thanks!
