Looks like we're having an election so.... any predictions?
OK, me first? I predict a Tory win.
Who would you LIKE to see lose their seat (whether improbable or not)?
Jeremy Corbyn and Diane Abbot are two I'd most like to see the back of.
Over to you for civil comments.
It's life Jim, but not as WE know it.
Live long and prosper.

I think it'll be a Tory win too.
labour will never win with Corbyn as leader.
The two you mentioned I can't stand.
Also Jo Swinson the Lib Dem leader who seems to be under the impression she's going to be the next prime minister.

Oh dear, what a delusion to be under?
It's life Jim, but not as WE know it.

Yes, dream on Jo.
she thinks she's going to walk away with the vote because she said they're going to put a stop to Brexit.

More "oh dear", she said :-
"This country deserves better than Boris Johnson and Jeremy Corbyn, and I am excited to take our positive, pro-European, liberal vision to the country as the Liberal Democrat candidate for prime minister."
It's life Jim, but not as WE know it.
Live long and prosper.

There's another one I can't stand, I think he's Lib Dem too, but I don't know his name.
Annoying Scottish bloke, I haven't been able to look at him or listen to him long enough to catch his name.😁

That could be Ian Blackford, he's the SNP's Westminster lead..........................he's a very confused man

Any die hard remainers will probably vote Lib Dem, though in Scotland it will be SNP.
Leavers should vote Tory if they want any chance of us leaving the EU.
Lord knows who is going to vote for Labour when they have no clear stance. "When we win with a majority, we will go back to the EU to negotiate a new deal. We will then have a 1 day conference of members to decide whether we campaign for the deal or remain in a new referendum"

Thanks angel ah, that's the one.
Talking of SNP, Nicola Sturgeon is on my hit list.😁

Emily Thornberry,,Yvette Cooper....in fact, any of those arrogant MPs who represent Leave voting constituencies but continue to ignore their constituents because they think they know better. And that includes my own MP, Nick Thomas Symonds, Shadow Attorney General. I DO hope he comes to knock at my door canvassing!

In bits here
Explain to me how the First Minister of Scotland would need to stand in a Westmonster election? She's hasn't even set foot in Westmonster ever!
29-10-2019 11:49 PM
It just occurred to me....Mr Farage could be our next Prime Minister!😂😂😂😂😂I think half of Wales will vote for his party!
30-10-2019 7:58 AM
I don't think either of us said or implied she would.

I'd like to see Speaker Bercow lose his seat. Sadly he's jumped before he could be pushed.

I can't see anything other than another hung Parliament unable to make a decisive move on the Brexit issue.
It's time politicians dropped their tribal stances and learned to work with each other. It's time the electorate made more effort to find out what their candidates actually stood for before voting.
Maybe, just maybe,we would then end up with a Parliament working towards making this a better country to live in for all rather than promoting their own and their party's interests.

This will be the second General Election to be decided almost entirely on the Brexit issue.
Is whether or not we leave the EU really more important than all the other issues put together?
Personally I've got to the point where I couldn't care less whether we leave or not. I doubt I'll notice much difference one way or another. I'm far more interested in whether my local health facilities will receive the required funding, whether councils will be able to fund our schools, maintain the roads, improve rubbish collection and recycling etc.
