Looks like a lot of lithium-ion battery sellers on ebay aren't aware of this. I looked up a few for eg. computers, cameras etc. and loads of sellers are stating delivery by Royal Mail. There must be 100s/1000s being sent by post rather than courier.
Since ebay take a percentage of delivery costs as well as the item's value ....are they participating in illegal activities?

Lithium Ion batteries can be sent by Royal Mail if they're included with a device that uses it.
