Frack baby frack !!

The government has made it a “top priority” to ensure protections for national parks and sites of special scientific interest do not obstruct fracking across the country, according to a leaked letter from ministers.

"Fracking in both protected areas was ruled out by the government last year, in the Infrastructure Act,But it appears ministers are working to ensure that even those limited protections do not get in the way of fracking companies.

I just hope they don't frack too near tory voters and affect their house prices

Quite a bit of fracking surveys taking place here in Surrey - most of which is solidly Tory.

We've also go an oil well just 300 yards up the road!

It is the Horse Hill site that is just up the road - the silly thing is that they're not carrying out fracking or even fracking surveys there - they're are doing test drills for a potential oil well.  The group carrying out the protests even admit this is the case on their web site.

Still the protestors aren't doing any harm - just a bit boring for them considering how relatively quiet the road is.
