Unable to progress return and contact seller

Hi, I need to progress a return as item recieved damaged, I'm trying to contact seller but struggling as keep getting message service is down due to eBay servicing. How do I progress return?

You have 30 days from item  delivery date to open a suitable eBay 'Not as described' 

 Return (damaged) case ...

Seller is required to accept returns and respond through the case (or eBay will) to assist in supplying a prepaid return label ... escalate case to eBay 4 days later and follow instructions carefully to case completion for a full refund... see case options here >>

If it's an issue specifically affecting eBay UK try logging onto eBay via one of their other websites, such as https://www.ebay.com, which is the American version of the site, and see if you can progress the case from there.  If it'll work that way then you won't have to wait for eBay to get off of their backsides and sort the problem out, which knowing eBay more than likely won't be anytime soon.
