OK so it's quite clear that I'm not the only user to find this new system rediculous.
I understand that Ebay has to offer its users some level of security but this is new to me.
Besides the really annoying Captcha and the ever constant ( and undeletable) 'a new device has signed in' messages.
Here's the thing I use basic old school internet security.... i log out and clear my browser cookies on exit..no exceptions.
My desktop, laptop and mobile are 'unknown' in trusted devices and I'm unable to switch off two-step verification..on but not OFF.
YES of course its me, I've proved that I'm human, done the Captcha, entered the password and now I'm looking for my damned phone to enter a 6 digit number.
I tried using the app but....
a) that also asks for verification
b) I don't want to use a 6" x 3" screen
