When creating an item for sale, how can I set the deadline for more than 10 days?

If it's an auction item, 10 days is the maximum

Ignore the bit that says a low starting price can help attract bidders. That is rubbish

Basically eBay offer two options, either Auctions (max ten days) or Buy it Nows (30 days I think).
TBH I always use BiN if I know what I want for an item, I tend to only use auctions if I have no idea what the thing is worth (but never start at 99p)

Auctions are up to 10 days but can auto relist up 8 times if they don't get bids.
Buy it now are good til cancelled but will renew every month automatically unless the item is sold or cancelled.
You can delay when a listing goes live by up to 3 weeks (I think) by scheduling a start time.
