Query purchasing postage label on item sold

Hi,

I have sold a dress for £5.57, with Evri postage cost of £2.94. E-bay has already transferred the total £8.51 into my bank account.

I need to post this to the buyer tomorrow, but when I click on the item to "Purchase Postage", I keep getting the error message "Something went wrong and we are unable to generate the label" and I am stuck!

Is this because I have no money in my funds and if so how do I add money? I am sure in previous years the postage would just be deducted from the amount I sell the item for and was available in my ebay account? And that the sold funds were never automatically transferred to my bank account, this had to be done manually.

Could anyone please advise? I have tried looking on the ebay q&a but am missing something!

You can go direct to the Evri website and buy it from them.  There is no need to use ebay's labels. If it is click and collect or with the GSP make sure you put the code on the label as that will not be done automatically. .
