Hi eBay community.
I recently purchased a pair of trainers under the authenticity guarantee scheme and the seller dropped them off for postage yesterday, but the tracking says 'We have your parcel and it's on its way back to the sender' is this normal or has something gone wrong?
Anyone had anything similar happen?

May be problem authenticating.
See if you get an explanation from Seller.
If item has not arrived by eBay's estimated delivery date, open an eBay case for 'not arrived'.

It looks like the item was sent back to the seller indeed, I can see a refund was issued for you, so you can get your money back. No further actions are needed from your end at this stage.
We wouldn't have further details as to why since I cannot review the seller's account over here.

Hi there, i have the exactly the same issue. I purchased a pair of trainers of ebay with the authenticity scheme. They got sent to dpd and the latest update is ' We have your parcel and its on its way back to sender' please could you help me with this

I recently sold an item via the authenticity guarantee and it seems this message is a bug or something they really need to change because that actually meant it was on the way to their depot. Really bad description there by DPD.

If the item was returned to you, then that would be pretty much it, there is no much more I can look into. If the item was returned to you because it didn't pass the authentication process, we will let you know via email. This is working as expected, and is not an issue. Mine has actually been delivered, disregard. Seller explained it was due to postage method he used.
