Posting to Germany

Hi All, I've just sold a Microsoft Office software to a buyer in Germany, it's basically just a disc with a couple of booklets inside a small box sealed with a shrinkwrap (25cm.21cm.6cm) I've tried to send it through ebay, no service was available for this size, I've tried with other couriers, I've found three which I'd be able to use, but someone had mentioned to me today that because it's going to Germany, I better check first and best to look into the German packaging tax, apparently I have to register before I post & It's expensive. Could anyone advise please? Many thanks in advance.

Could offer a discount and offer to just message them the key, they can download the software from microsoft
