bought a spin mop and bucket  it now has stopped working and the seller has removed themselves from ebay so can't send it back for a refund, it wasn't cheap either .

If it is longer ago than 30 days since you received it neither ebay nor the seller would be able to help you anyway as the money back guarantee only covers you for faults that appear during this time.

Try your payment provider, or Paypal if you paid that way.

If you are still within the timeframe open a return from your purchase history citing "Not as described" You will be provided with a prepaid return label even if the seller has gone awol.

The seller could not remove temselves if they made a recent transaction,  but eBay can remove them,  if they broke some eBay selling ruling.

If you are still within 30 days of the item's last estimated date for delivery,  then contact eBay Customer Services who will help you open this case for a refund.

If you are outside the 30 day period, then you cannot reach to eBay for help with a refund now.

On weekdays lines open between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.

On weekends they open between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

If it's the seller you bought from 6 months ago, then nothing you do via ebay as to much time has passed and your out of time to make any claim from the seller to.

You get on average 120 days to raise a case with your payment provider for help to,so that time has passed to.
