Unsure about buyer

I just sold an Xbox Series S but the buyer just joined ebay today and has no feedback whatsoever.  They have paid through ebay and of course the funds are on hold until they receive the item, but I'm just a little worried that this could possibly be the start of a scam, especially as they just joined today.  Has anyone had anything similar happen? Am I protected by eBay if I send the item? Thank you

Thousands join eBay daily, ebay spend millions on advertising so expect a good return on those new member figures.

If eBay have informed you the buyer has paid,  then send the item only to the name and address eBay provide on the delivery details on the order,  and to no other.

All I can say is to send the item fully tracked, add insurance if need be, this for your protection.  When tracking shows delivery,  initial payouts will be released sooner.
