Trying to buy a postage label

... and I keep getting taken to PayPal which I didn't even realise was still affiliated with EBay. Paypal seems to want access to my bank account which I am reluctant to allow. It never used to be so intrusive.

All I want to do is use my nominated bank account to purchase a Royal Mail postage sticker to put on a parcel.

I have tried the chat-bot feature but cannot make it understand the problem and do not know how to reach a human assistant.

I am lost - how do I resolve this?

Royal Mail labels on eBay can only be paid via Paypal at the moment,if you want to use your debit card go direct to Royal Mail and purchase from them.

That's exactly how an agent explained it to me: there is no other option but PayPal for 'in-house' purchase of Royal Mail services. Solved.
