Refunding

I bought an exhaust, the advert said it will fit, I even used the car reg, that also said it will fit,  the seller messaged me saying the part is wrong for my car, even though their advert says it will,   The seller is saying I need to put in a request to cancel to get refund, is this right or are they saying it so I will have to pay the fees,

surly they should just refund they money if they have the wrong advert.

The seller is simply asking you to request a refund through eBay so that eBay will credit their selling fee back to their account.

It doesn't mean that you will be charged for any fees.

For how to request a cancelaltion see: https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/buying/cancelling-order/cancel-order?id=4004&st=12&pos=1&query=Cancel%20...
