Private account not business

I would like yo know how I downgrade from a business account back to a private account.

I have been an account holder for many years now and for a brief period in 2008/2009 I sold some information packs on my trade.  I was then reclassified as a business account.

However, I didn't donthis for long and now I am still registered as a business which discloses my home address?

How do I get reclassified as a private account or remove my address from public view?

You cannot change from business to private account.

You can open a new account (will need another email) and then close the business account, although that can take some time, depending on when last activities (eg buying/selling)

Only ebay can down grade you,once you ask them, and they then review your account and make a decision.https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid

Weekdays: 8 am-10pm
Weekends: 9 am-6pm.

As a business seller you do have to have your address and contact details available to buyers.

You can open a 2nd ebay account for private use, but your Business account would still remain unless you closed it.
