As a new seller I didn't realise my payment for a sale would be held by ebay for 14 days. Item has been despatched but I have no payment

If you have added the tracking, the payment may be forwarded to you sooner when tracking shows delivery.

However, Ebay do state that they may hold payments for infrequent/new/returning sellers for up to 21 days.

As a new seller make sure you have set up your account for managed payments and verified your bank account to receive payments,and you can view the said info in this link to include info on payment holds,which are there to protect sellers and buyers.Start getting paid on eBay | eBay
