What does payments managed by eBay mean. I have 2 options usually payment on collection or PayPal when I've gone to post an item for sale the PayPal option for payment has disappeared and been replaced by a greyed out "payment managed by eBay" what is that?

Put 'getting paid' into 'Help & contact' top left of your Ebay page.

Since you last sold, Ebay has introduced managed payments.  They collect payment from your buyer and then pay you directly into your bank account, after deducting their fees.  Your buyer has a choice of payment methods and they can still use Paypal, buy payments will come into your bank through Ebay.

A lot has changed since you last sold on eBay and Paypal is no longer used to receive buyers payments,instead eBay introduced Managed Payments where the buyer pays eBay who then pay into sellers bank account.
