New to Ebay ... please can someone tell me how I can chat with an Agent & not an automated system? Complicated problem which I have followed all recommended steps & still not sorted TIA

If it was on a single order you need to open a "not as described" return, rather than a "not received" case. Click on "Return this item" on right of your order on your Purchases page and select "Doesn't match description" as the reason. If necessary escalate it to ebay after 3 working days. You will be issued with a paid-for return postage label.
The seller will also have the option to issue a partial refund without return or send the missing item but don't close the case before they do. And if they delay be sure to escalate your case within 30 days.

If you paid for an item and you have received it with items missing from it etc,then it would be seen as not as described and you can open a return request case to that affect within 30 days of the estimated delivery date here https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/buying/returns-refunds/returning-item?id=4041
The seller should send you a prepaid return label if they want the item back and refund you within 3 days of getting the item back.
