Offer received and counter offer made. Can I change my mind and accept the offer

I recived an offer that was only pence above my starting price, I declined and made a counter offer of a couple of pounds more as I had a few watchers but on balance I'd rather just make the sale. Can I go back and accept the orriginal offer somehow? Thanks

I'm afraid not,as once you make a counter offer it voids the original offer.
