Listing Error

Hi - any help appreciated - the issue began today 23/3 when doing sell similar item the title line retains the previous item title - the rest of the listing is fine - it will just not accept the new description - we use iPad not App - tried clearing cache - any ideas please ...

Personally, I'd never use an iPad with eBay, it seems to be the least functional device.

Do you have another device you can use?

If you haven't yet had a bid you should be able to easily revise the listing title, use the button on this eBay guidance page

Hi - Thank You - used iPad for many years - never had an issue.  Tried the link - same thing - the title/description retains the description of the previous item - everything else scheduled  time etc is correct  ...

So, you click on the blue 'Revise your listing' button, change the listing title, scroll down to the bottom of the listing form and save the changes and then it just jumps back to the original title?

Yes - that's correct - the item description title line retains the description from the previous listing - everything else updates ie time postage etc ...

Seems others are reporting the same issue as of yesterday, and ebay have reported it to the ebay tech team.

Hi - Thank You - saw an old thread - apparently it happened some time ago - a work round suggested - type heading/description on notes - copy/paste to blank box - for some reason it works - Thanks Again ...

Update - the work round isn't working now - got 2 listings on then it all started again ... going to leave it for now - see what happens ...
