Irritating viewed item notifications

Is anyone else getting really annoyed by constant viewed item price drops and other messages. If I wanted to be kept updated I would add it to my watched items!

In my Buying Activity Communications Preferences I have "Price Reduced on Item" notifications deselected, so if i dont want them on items in my watched list, why would I want them on items I am not watching?

Over eager ebay are to blame,as we all get these annoying notifications unfortunately,which can make for over active delete tab 😉
