Hello there I've just purchased an item from a UK seller and I'm in the UK, ebay are charging vat on the sale, this is wrong, what do I do

Check seller location on their feedback page. 

Some Chinese sellers do have UK warehouse. 

But if based outside UK,  you pay VAT. 

There is also a Glitch where even if buyer and seller are in UK,  it says VAT charged, but you don't actually get charged it.
