eBay will not delete it as they cannot physically see the item,  and any reports just from the photo or description saying faake,  cannot be acted on , as it could be coming from a disgruntled buyer or even a competitor selling the same item.

Harsh as it seems that's the reality,  but if the seller is selling many of these coins and on receipt buyers open item not as described cases,  numerous cases opened for the same reason will raise red flags to eBay,  and then they can act.  Removing the items and possibly the seller from their site, permanently.

Reporting an obvious fake like that requires speaking to someone at ebay who would understand that Queen Victoria died long before that date, but I suspect it would be impossible even then to convince them it was a fake.

Because if you read the second papa. of the user agreement, eBay makes it clear that they do not review listings or their content. On eBay, listings are the entire responsibility of the seller, but eBay provides the buyer with a strong money back guarantee if an item is not as described.

eBay even warns buyers in the user agreement that "they do not guarantee the existence, quality, safety or legality of items advertised, or the truth or accuracy of descriptions".

Buyers can't say they were not warned. Buying from strangers on eBay isn't like the shops. Don't expect it to be.

There is a link in every listing to report it, but whether eBay will remove it is up to them.
