Changing Method of Delivery

I have noted a growing trend where as seller list an item with a nominated means of delivery for example a upgraded Royal Mail service. When the item arrives they have changed the means of delivery to a less expensive delivery service without advising of the change. One sign is that they fail to give a tracking number, a feature that give some idea of what's going on. Are others seing this trend?

It's not mandatory to add tracking.

However,  if you have paid for a faster more expensive postal service,  and the seller then uses a cheaper service,  you can open a case for item not as described for a full refund.

If the seller wishes the item to be returned first , they need to pay for that tracked return postal service.

This is very annoying, especially for those who prefer and pay for royal mail and to avoid any evri issues, then get evri deliveries because the seller wants the cheapest option.

You can open a return case for not as described as said but would have to return the item first.

Alternative is to say in feedback the "Seller changed the postal service without consent"
