Buyer claims that item has not been received despite him leaving positive feedback.

So eBay has decided to withold my money!

Once a buyer makes a claim that something has not been received, shouldn't eBay do a simple check on feedback?

Feedback can be left in error so Ebay do not take it into account.

Have you got proof of delivery to the buyer?  That is what you will need to get the case closed and your payment released.

Nope ,  eBay do not look at feedback as it can,  and is often left in error.

 

If you have tracking to show delivery all is good, and you'll win any case for item not delivered.
