selling copied dvd

I have just bought a dvd and it was recorded from tv . Is this fraud and shouldn't ebay stop them selling on ebay instead of just asking me to return the item

EDIT: I am not the only person who has said about them being copies , he has 3 negative feedback which says they are copies or recorded off of tv and then sold as originals

Depends what is was and whether there is still copyright on it. I know of several (admittadly old) TV series/plays etc. that have no copyright.

Edit : After looking at what you have bought I would suggest all of those have copyright still active.

As for ebay saying return, they haven't actually seen the DVD's so it's your word against sellers whether they are fake.
