leaving feedback re non payer

I am a  new seller  - I sold an item for which I didnt get paid ...  didnt open a case within 30 days lessons learned and all that , have relisted the item and moving on. HOWEVER thought I would leave feedback  around non payment - this buyer has 100% positive feedback , however  on looking through the comments there are plenty fof comments around   non payment ... but  the feedback is rated as green   how does that work????

There is no option to leave negative or neutral feedback for buyers and hasn't been for 8 years.  The sellers who left those false positives were abusing the feedback system and failing to open unpaid cases to give the nuisance a strike.  Just 2 strikes in 12 months would have been enough to stop that buyer in their tracks, assuming you've set your buyer preferences correctly.

 

Worse, each of those false positives is a policy violation that can damage the sellers' accounts.  A green dot says that the seller is happy with the transaction.

 

Please don't be tempted to follow the herd.  Use the unpaid dispute, use the buyer preferences and the blocked bidder list and forget all about feedback.
