You should have opened a not as described case
The seller should have issued a prepaid tracked return label
If the seller did not issue a label...after 8 days you escalate the case 7 eBay send you one paid by the seller
You post & add the tracking number to the case
As soon as tracking shows delivery attempted you are refunded
If you paid return post eBay cannot force the seller to reimburse you
If you returned by normal post (ie not recorded or special delivery) then you will have no tracking & will be unable to win any case
If you have tracking then open a not as described case in Paypal, add the tracking number & escalate the case....Paypal will refund if tracking shows delivery attempted
If you sent untracked & have proof of postage you can claim for a lost item (up to a max value of £20) from Royal Mail
If you have no tracking & no proof of posting then there is nothing you can do
