Uk Postage Charges to Australia

I am a Beswick collector in Australia.  recently the postage for small items, suck as the small birds show a postage cost of near $40.00AU.  This is stopping many Australian buyers from purchasing from England.

There is a small parcel delivery price with 20GBP insurance for 12 GPB, and in a resent instance that was lower to 8GBP.

Twice I have sent email to UK sellers to ask about postage considerations and have got no answer in return.

Please UK sellers,  don't let the Canadians beat you in your sales, offer the chaeper, non-priority international small package deal to us  poor old colonials.

The sellers you are looking at are probably enroled in the global shipping program without knowing it - ebay automatically opted every one in, and you have to physically opt out if you don't want it. Trouble is, people don't bother to read the announcements so they don't realise they are in it.GSP postal prices are horrendous and it not only stops you from buying, but it stops us from selling as most buyers will avoid listings with GSP.  Look for sellers who offer their own postage costs - many do.
