Transaction Defect

I'm intrigued to know . . . . My dashboard shows a cancelled transaction defect. #151661540976

 

My buyer mis-read my ad. and paid the wrong (too small) amount to PayPal. I messaged, asking for the balance or offering a full refund.

 

He accepted a full refund  and in feedback wrote" Excellent comms. I got the pricing wrong refunded immediately. Apologies Thanks"

 

What should I have done to avoid thge defect?

You should have sent a cancellation request as buyer wanted to cancel, then issued the refund at the same time. You can still send the cancellation then the defect should be removed at next evaluation
