The invoice has a higher postage fee than the auction.

After ten years and 1500 purchases, this is a first for me.

the listing says shipping to Norway is 5.50, and the invoice received says shipping is 7 pound.

how can the seller be allowed to change the amount after the auction is over?

i am not going to pay any more than 5.50, which is more than enough. It is a small toiletbag, weighing under 100 gram.

I have to edit instead of answer, because I can not find any reply button..

Anyway, no, the auction was straight forward, with a private seller and no global ebay involved

i just want to not pay at all, since I think this is just so rude and greedy.

And I dont understand how the seller is able to change the shipping fee at all. Is there a "change shipping" button when sending out an invoice?

Take another look at the listing page, have you bought this through eBay's global shipping program?  If so then the seller is not at fault and cannot change the invoice.

Sorry, forgot to add that if it wasn't a gsp item then no, you should not pay more than the listing stated and should contact the seller for an explanation.
