Returning an item.

Hi there. I've never had to return an item before so I'm not sure what to do. I have been sent a return label by the seller. I have packaged up the item, put in the slip and then stuck the return label on the package. I was just wondering, can I post this package through a letter box, or does it need to be posted through the post office? The package lable is ' 48 hour tracked' there is a barcode and it also says ' postage on account GB' so does this mean the return has been paid for and I don't need to pay anything? Thank you for any help you can give me. If I can just pop it through a post box it'd be fantastic as the post office is atleast a 3 mile walk away.. Lol!

No you cannot just put it in a post box ....

You must take it to the post office and you will be given a proof of postage receipt to prove that you have returned it ..the label is a pre paid label so you will not need to pay ...

Do NOT be tempted to drop it in the post box ...you need the proof of postage to prove it was  returned ...
