Refund.

Good morning,I have a seller who sent me fake goods.They now accept that the items are fake.They state that they are trying to refund me,but a aren't given that option as I have opened up a return item case,is this what happens?The seller doesn't want the fake goods back.

If I close this case am I still covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

Do not close the case, you will not be able to reopen it.    When the seller clicks on the return details for the item on their My eBay sold page, on the righthand side there's a link that says "If  you prefer, you can refund the buyer now".  

If not escalate the case to ebay after about 8 days and seller will be required to refund or provide return postage label for you to use.
