Neutral feedback over wanting extra bubble wrap

Buyer recently purchased a cheap pre owned games console but left neutral feedback. The feedback wasn't really relative because it was more of a preference on the buyers part. I had sent this item with what I would describe as adequate padding. The rest would be up to the courier for which if damaged buyer could of been compensated. I feel the feedback left is more to prove a point that the buyer feels they know best. A simple message would of done as they still received the fully working games console which was tracked and had compensation if the item was broken.

Hi

One thing you have to be very careful of with carriers/couriers  is......if damage is deemed to occur due to insufficient packaging, then often they will not pay compensation if the item gets damaged in transit.

In the above  circumstances you would still have to refund the buyer so it is probably in your own best interests to ensure that the packaging reduces the risk.  Personally i always go over the top with packaging.

I think that sending a games console in just a padded envelope is not the best way to package it if i am honest
