Lots of watchers, should I put item in for auction instead of fixed price?

If the item hasn't sold by the time the fixed price listing ends then it may be worthwhile considering placing the item up for auction, starting the auction at the minimum price that you'd be happy to accept if you only got one bid.  That way if some of the watchers who are already watching the item are currently trying to make their minds up as to whether or not to buy the item but are a bit hesitant to pay the full asking pricefor the item then they may be more inclined to place a bid if you start the auction off at a lower price.  If you do that and the item draws more interest from other potential buyers then you could end up with a sale for a decent price.  At the end of the day though the final decision as to what you decide to do with regards to selling the item is up to you.
