Not sure if I can do anything but I have listed loads of things yesterday and today as moving house. I seem to have made a massive mistake, I have just had a message stating an item has sold, however I intended it to be in an auction for one week. When I have looked at the advert now it was buy it now. The item sold for £100 but we hoped for up to £300 as it is in excellent almost new condition, new one of the item is £500. The buyer has contacted me to arrange collection and has sent payment via PayPal. HELP! What can I do? I thought I had started the auction at £100.

Hi Jayne, no one can force a seller to sell but the buyer could leave neg feedback and report you to ebay. One report may not be enough to suspend your account. So you have the choice of accepting the loss and selling at the lower price, or refunding the payment, explaining problem to buyer and bracing yourself for neg f/b.
