Item posted and not received

I've posted an item Royal Mail second class and my buyer has not received it. Will RM help? Does anyone know the procedure? Thanks

Thanks to those who have replied; I cannot find the button to add a comment!! 

The item is not the phone but one of value less than £20 so I believe this is covered.  I did post the phone signed for / insured etc.

Your buyer's rights when an item is not received are explained in eBay's money back guarantee, see:

In short, you refund your buyer and use your proof of posting to claim whatever compensation may be available from Royal Mail.
