Item not received

Hi, I sent an item on the 17th oct 1st Royal Mail and the buyer states they haven't yet received it! I don't know what to suggest as I sent quite a few items that day from the post office and the buyers for those items have received their packages! I have lost the receipt for the tracking number too! Has this happened to anyone else?

Hello,

Royal Mail do lose items, so yes it has happened to countless people,  that is why they have a compensation procedure in place.  However,  you would need you proof of posting to make a claim with them.

You also need a tracking number  for eBay,  which proved delivery,   to win any case opened in the future for item not received.   You need to find that receipt.
