Item I have paid for

Hello I purchased an item off ebay, received it but it was missing a piece. I contacted the seller they told me they would send it out to me the next day . about seven days have passed and still haven't received it . I asked if I could have a partial refund as its not a complete piece . an I'm not able to return it because it was a wedding gift which they was aware of. they told me no can do it was either the bunting or the heart I could choose from . this was not stated in the item description . the picture also shows the bunting is made from wood and mine was made of card . what are my rights an can I open a case as this seller has decided to ignore me

If the item is not as described then open a not as described dispute in the Resolution Centre at the bottom of the page

The seller should send a pre paid label for the return and if they dont then ebay should when you escalate the dispute

You will have to return the item for the refund

Ebay does not deal in partial refunds it is all or nothing
