There is no buyer protection on eBAy for vehicles

If the listing is still running you can retract your bid   eBay UK Bid retraction

After it has closed you can only refuse to pay.....if you get an unpaid strike you can appeal it with the HPI evidence

Do not pay as eBay cannot help get your money back
