Dear eBay
I recieved an email today that I purchased an item, however I did not authorise this purchase myself. I have contatced the seller to arrange a cancellation of the item and I have also changed my eBay password. I was wondering if you could help me protect my account, as well as confirming that I did not make this purchase and to help me recieve my money back from the seller.

If the item has been paid for through paypal then you need to change your password straight away on paypal and then contact both paypal and ebay
Go to Help and contact at the top of the page and put in the Search box Someone has used my account
Ring paypal you will find the information on the site They are usually very good
This often happens when you click on a phissing email
