realistic hopes for the rest of the year.
One of my hopes was my car past its MOT without costing much and it did . A couple of others are, things only get better for stroppy from now on, CB gets some decent weather to get outdoors on her swing and enjoy the fruits of her labour in her lovely garden and for the rest of you that you all stay happy, healthy and have a wonderful second half of the year.

Thank you ladies for your concerns about cost of fixing computer.
The shop scrubbed it, did a fresh install and only charged me £15. I was dreading the cost in case it was something like the hard drive had broken down in some way.
Yep I am a complete computer numpty so had no idea what "corrupted profile" meant and thought the worst.
Again many many thanks for your concern lovely ladies.

I totally agree with you Stan - says she who has just broken her little toe on her right foot. I just said oh heck. Just hope that I didn't frighten our new neighbours too much as they are lovely.

Stan, I gather that there wasn't a hope in hell of getting your previous sit on lawn mower back. There are some horrible people in this world who want what other people have worked for.
