Buckingham Palace Visit?

As anyone visited Buckingham Palace for a tour of the State Rooms via British Rail?  We will arrive at London Victoria, and would appreciate if someone knows whether it is within reasonable walking distance or whether a bus is needed?

Hi Classikat, I would agree, 10 to 15 mins easy walking distance, assuming nobody has any walking difficulties.  It's

2 stops by bus but the stops are very close together and, by the time you've worked out where to wait for bus, and

waited for it, you can be there.  I'm sure you can get a map on your phone but if you need one, don't hesitate to ask

Easy walking distance from Victoria station.

It is an excellent visit.  Don't miss having tea/lunch/refreshment in the tent on the terrace
