I need help regarding vat

Hope you are safe and well

I am from siri lanka.

I create a business account and change the country region to UK.

 when i put my price on any item eBay add 20% vat.

How can i avoid VAT.

I CAN'T beat other sellers price due to extra vat.

That's why i am not receive orders.

Please let me know how can i sort it out.

Anyone in the UK that buys your items has to pay import vat at 20%, it can't be avoided.

You are likely to encounter various difficulties if using an eBay UK registered account to sell from Sri Lanka ... Verified UK Banking account details with valid UK Addresses are now required for receiving payments in the UK site and an additional 20% Import VAT charge will be made by the UK Government HMRC to any UK buyers.   

Using a PC/Laptop, suggest that you consider using the Global/International USA site which accepts accounts with differing payment and Banking methods from around the World  ... US site links are here >
