I've just bought a pair of trainers and the authenticator said they've sent them back to the seller is this normal

I'd hazard a guess that the authenticator has failed them for some reason, i.e. they think they are possibly fakes or not up to standard.

I've no idea if it's normal or not, but the authentication scheme is presumably there to protect buyers such as yourself.

I think you should automatically get a refund
